Ethanol production lead

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Lead will assist with the production process including; production operation & maintenance of the Ethanol plant.

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in production lead roles within the Corn based Ethanol / ENA plant .
- Proficiency with SAP, strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel & Power BI.
- Proficiency in production system, operation & maintenance, quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, EFfCI GMP) and their practical implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and consultation.
- Experience in managing and motivating teams, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Experience in ethanol,and corn process
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Turkish.
- Additional languages are a plus.
- Must reside in Adana or Kozan \ TURKEY

Job Description:

- Ensure that all the daily, weekly, and monthly planned production targets in the distillation station are achieve.
- Assist the Plant Manager in preparation of the operating and capital budgets.
- Assist the plant Manager in planning the weekly and annual preventative maintenance programmes.
- Monitor the process plant efficiency and the quality of the products and take necessary and corrective action whenever a deviation from the set values takes place.
- Monitor all rotating equipment and observe the performance of the equipment.
- Raise the purchase requisition and maintain sufficient input, spare parts, tools & tackles.
- Coordinate with the Boiler, Water & Waste water, Electrical, Instruments and warehouse supervisors to ensure a smooth daily ethanol production.
- Ensure that the ethanol plant all sections –Milling, Liquification, Fermentation, Distillation, Utilities, water & wastewater treatment & boiler are performing adequately.
- Apply engineering expertise to solve production problems, and provide input to process improvements. This might include sizing of equipment, identifying equipment capacity requirements, developing process control systems, increasing efficiencies of the flow of fluid materials, etc.
