Job Overview:
The Permit Coordinator at Dispatch Hub will oversee the acquisition and management of permits essential for transporting oversized and heavy loads across various regions. This position involves close collaboration with dispatch, drivers, and regulatory bodies to maintain full compliance with regional transportation laws, ensuring smooth operations and secure transit of loads.

Primary Duties:
- Permit Management: Prepare, submit, and secure necessary permits for oversized and heavy loads, ensuring compliance with regional requirements for each shipment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Keep informed on current transportation regulations for oversized loads in all operating regions, including any special restrictions, escort needs, and curfews.
- Route Assessment: Review and plan optimal routes, considering restrictions like weight limits, bridge clearances, and ongoing construction, to ensure safe passage.
- Documentation Maintenance: Organize and manage all records related to permits and regulations; update permit details and routing records as required for each load.
- Cross-department Collaboration: Work closely with dispatchers, drivers, and other teams to address any route adjustments, permit issues, or unexpected delays due to weather or other factors.
- Client Updates: Communicate with clients to provide updates on permits, delivery schedules, and any potential challenges, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced level of English.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills; detail-oriented; capable of managing high-pressure situations and meeting tight deadlines.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in logistics or transportation are a plus.
