Python developer

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in Java development for web and mobile products as well ML modeling for scoring and analysis who is passionate about the customer experience to join the InsideTracker team as a Python Developer.

Responsibilities:

Deliver tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Python/Mobile based software products.
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
Design, develop and test Python based solutions using common standards and frameworks.
Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
Maintain and update all existing Python applications and related technical documentation as needed.
Work collaboratively with other team members.

Requirements:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar in relevant fields.
Previous working experience in Python development for 5+ years
Experience in Python - Flask, Pandas
Experience in Python RESTful APIs
Understanding of ML algorithms and approaches
Excellent skills in DB Schema design and SQL development
Great level of competency with Git Source Control
RESTful services experience
Experience with Agile software development methodology (Scrum/ Kanban)
Maintain a healthy balance of disciplined test planning with day-to-day flexibility
Background working on mature, 24/7 SaaS web and mobile applications
A love for developing software and solving difficult problems with simple solutions
