Safety Specialist

1. Trucking Company is seeking an safety assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Directing, monitoring, and reviewing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DOT
 regulations.
- Providing comprehensive safety training and orientations for new hires

- Tracking and reporting weekly and monthly safety incidents and DOT violations.

- Utilize the FMCSA portal to ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all drivers
2. Manage the Data Q process to review, challenge, and correct any safety record discrepancies
Provide training and guidance to drivers on safety protocols and compliance standards
- Respond to safety incidents, including near misses and accidents
3. Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, and corrective actions
Provide safety training and education with safety regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills to identify safety issues and develop effective solutions Excellent communication and negotiation skills 

- Knowledge of English (B2-C1)

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and data analysis

- Experience in developing and implementing safety programs will be a benefit
